to call me mom,”
Rachel replied as she kissed Envy on her cheeks.
“We got something for you mom,” Envy said and passed her the bag.
Rachel opened it to see a blue church dress with a big blue church hat to match. “Awww, thank you babies,” she said and kissed them both. “Oh who is this little guy?” Rachel asked as she noticed Mike for the first time.
“This is Mike mom. He’s from Brownsville Brooklyn. Me and Envy decided to take care of him for awhile.”
“Hi Miss Rachel,” Mike said speaking for the first time.
“Hey baby,” Rachel said bending down to get a better look at him. Her eyes opened up wide when she did. He looked just like Michael even down to his eyes she thought to herself. “Michael, Envy, come with me,” she said as she stood up and walked towards the basement door with Michael and Envy following her.
The basement was dark. Rachel hit the light switch and turned around to face Michael and Envy.
“Baby, the devil is coming for you.”
“Mom, are you going to start talking about that devil stuff? Please don’t start talking that bullshit. I didn’t come for this.”
“Baby, this is no bullshit. The signs are clear. God has shown me in my dreams and that boy upstairs is another sign you need to get away from him, baby.”
    “Mom, you’re bugging.”
“Michael, I’m not fucking bugging as you say. You have a gun baby?’ Rachel asked while touching his waist and feeling his 45 handgun there.
Envy eyes opened up wide with shock. She never had seen a mother that wanted her son to carry a gun. But she knew the past with Black Ice. “Boy, I’m telling you the devil is coming for you. You don’t have to believe me, but I have something for you and Envy.” Rachel hit a switch and a secret door opened to reveal arsenal of guns.
“Damn mom, I thought you was all holy and stuff?” Michael stated.
“Boy shut up. I am and you never doubt that. I’m just ready for the devil when he comes.”
Envy and Michael stood there in shock looking at all the guns. They were more surprised than anything. Michael always knew his mother was a fighter and knew that’s where he got it from.
Rachel pulled out two melt cases and opened one to reveal two chrome 50 caliber desert eagle handguns with holsters. “Damn mom, where you get those?
    There beautiful.”
“Don’t worry about that, baby, but they’re yours and one of the most powerful handguns in the world. There 50 caliber and the clips are extended so you get 22 bullets in each one. Michael picked up the guns. He had seen a lot of guns in his short life, but never none like these and so pretty. Then he noticed the handles were pearl and there was word writing on the side of them that read, ‘The right hand of God.’ “This is for you, Envy,” Rachel said while opening up the next melt case. Inside were twin forty caliber handguns. They were the same in every way as Michael’s guns with two things different: the handle was pink and pearl and the guns were smaller. “Envy baby, I don’t know how you feel about guns. I really don’t like them myself, but you must be a strong woman being with my son.”
“Guns don’t bother me, Rachel. I’m from Brooklyn. I know how to use them but never thought I had too.”
“Girl, if you call me Rachel one more time.”
“Ok mom,” Envy said with a smile on her face.
“I got one more than for you Envy. This is a 3.57 sub nose magnum with strap holsters. You put this on your thigh under your jeans or dress. I know how much you love you some fashion and I don’t want you to mess up none of your pretty outfits, but I don’t want you trying to carry the other two around, but Envy I want you to carry this all the time. I see it in my dreams you need this child.”
“Mom, we’re going to be okay. You need to stop this you’re just having bad dreams.”
“Michael, I am not going to keep telling you. God shown me signs in my dreams. I’ll pray for you two.”
    Michael
