stabbed her in the chest when she thought of them completing their mission and leaving.
“Don’t tell me you haven’t realized how much we all want you, baby.” Codi stared at her heatedly.
    “I…”
Codi leaned forward until his mouth was a hairbreadth from hers. She was in shock at his words and wanted to close the distance so she could feel what it would be like to kiss him just once, but she didn’t have the confidence to pull it off.
But he must have read her mind, because the next thing she knew his lips were brushing against hers and his hand was on her nape, whether to prevent her from pulling back or just to touch her she didn’t know.
His warm, moist breath caressed over her lips, and then his tongue swiped across the seam. When her lips parted on a gasp, he seized the advantage, slipping his tongue into her mouth and taking control. Instead of the kiss starting slow, it was immediately off the charts. Hot. Wild. Carnal. Never had Nyssa felt so aroused and dominated as she did right at this moment. He took from her with a voracious hunger that had her insides heating and melting.
His masculine scent wrapped around her senses, pulling her down into a haze of desire and making her feel like an animal in heat. The hand at her nape tightened, and then the other one landed on her waist, then the first joined it on the other side just above her hips. And then she was moving, not sure where he was taking her but more than willing to follow. Her breath rushed out as her ass landed on his lap. The heat of his body warmed hers even more as he settled her with his naked chest against her arm and side.
Codi released her mouth and looked down at her. With slow deliberation, he moved the hand at her rib cage up and down, caressing her over the large T-shirt she wore beneath the robe. He moved higher and higher until his hand was resting on the outside of her breast.
She shivered with aroused need, and as she looked into his eyes, she felt as if he could see into her soul. She was drowning, and even though she was unsure whether she really wanted to be attracted to him and his brothers, she knew she couldn’t resist. Her need to feel his hands on her body superseded her mind’s anxieties. Even if they left her, the need to feel and know what it was like to be with them overrode everything else.
Codi’s hand finally moved the last couple of inches and covered her breast. Her areola puckered. Her nipple filled with blood, and the ache increased until it was almost unbearable. When his thumb brushed over the turgid peak, an involuntary sob escaped her mouth and she arched up into his touch.
“That’s it, baby. Let me touch you. You’ve been so tense. Let me help you relax.”
The deep, gravelly cadence of Codi’s voice washed over her, causing her to shiver. Her head bumped against his shoulder when he pinched her nipple between thumb and finger. The slight pain was almost erotic as he squeezed harder and then rolled her nipple.
“Yes, Nyssa, just feel, baby. You’re so responsive.”
Whimpering with disappointment when he lifted his hand, she moved hers to clutch at his arm, not sure if she was trying to make him continue or remove his touch from her sensitive, overheated body.
“Shh, Nyssa, relax for me. Let me take care of you.”
Her body shuddered in reaction to his words. She wanted, no, needed him to touch her again, except this time she hoped he would touch her skin instead of her robe and shirt. She wanted nothing between his hand and her body, wanted to feel his slightly calloused hands causing friction and pleasure when he caressed her.
“Stand up, Nyssa,” Codi demanded firmly.
She did as he said and began to step away from him, rejection causing her shoulders to slump in defeat. He didn’t really want her after all. Maybe he wasn’t attracted to her, as she had been beginning to think. Why would he be? No other male had really wanted her. Why would such a masculine, handsome man want
