Chapter One

Angel’s core pulsed with need even though it hadn’t been
half a day since he’d taken her.
Davis’ profile made her heart flutter and her pulse beat
erratically between her thighs.
    It was always like that.
Out of nowhere his dominance would hit her and take her to
her knees.
But he was always there to catch her…
Or force her down if that was what he needed from her.
She stood in the doorway of his home office, staring at him,
frozen by his broody attention on the dual monitors sitting on his desk.
Angel twirled her wedding ring around her finger, smiling
faintly at the vanilla reminder of how far they’d come. Almost six years had
passed since they had said “I do”. But they hadn’t found each other, not
really, until a few months past their fourth anniversary.
A night like any other, but somehow different from all the
rest.
His energy had nearly consumed her that night.
She sucked in a startled breath, remembering just how things
had changed between them. Some silly argument had triggered it, unleashing the
dominance he’d always kept caged. An all-consuming desire to own her
broke free and changed their relationship forever.
The need to submit to him, to kneel at his feet and give her
power over to him had been instantaneous.
She hadn’t questioned it, hadn’t fought it tooth and nail
like so many of her kinky friends had. For that and so much more she would be
forever grateful.
Their love had never been stronger. It had grown deeper
every day since.
Seeing him in his chair with his chin resting on the
knuckles of the hand farthest from her, called to her. Partly due to the thick
erection tenting his slacks but mostly because of the way his eyes narrowed at
a new entry on some conversation taking place on his monitor. The need to go to
him, to comfort him and to offer herself to him, nearly overwhelmed her. She couldn’t
walk away from him any more than he could strip out of his dominance and leave
it on the floor.
They completed each other in ways she never knew to pray
for.
    And he let her play…
Sweet heaven above did he let her play.
    “Pet? You okay?”
At his concerned tone she glanced up at his face again from
where she’d been staring at the bamboo flooring by his boots. He ran a hand
through his longish brown hair, tugging it away from his forehead and letting
it fall across his brow when he released it.
A smile tugged at her lips as she made her way, barefooted,
across the smooth floor to stand beside him.
“More than fine, Owner.” She bent to place a quick kiss on
his lips but before she could move away he grabbed the back of her neck,
holding her in place.
He licked inside her mouth, expertly opening her lips to
dive inside. His hand moved to her short blonde hair, fisting it and angling
her head how he liked it, how he wanted it. He nipped her bottom lip, making
her jump. A sigh slipped out past her lips as he licked the sting away.
“Fuck, you taste good,” he growled against her mouth.
She tipped her forehead against his and smiled again. “I
love the way you kiss me.”
“I love the way you take it. Moans and sighs and your
fingernails digging into my arm.”
She loosened her grip on his arm, biting her lip at how hard
she’d latched on to him. He’d definitely wear her mark for an hour or two and
she couldn’t help but feel more than a little smug that he was hers. For
always.
Davis kissed her again, lingering on her lips until she
sighed into his mouth again.
He pulled her onto his lap, tugging until her backside was
snug against his cock. She wiggled against his erection until he growled. She
couldn’t contain her shiver as he nipped her neck below her ear.
No matter how many times he took her, claimed her,
controlled her, it was just as hot, just as intense and wicked as it had been
the first time.
She blinked several times, forcing her eyes to focus on the
screen in front of her.
As she suspected, he had a chat program up. The
