of her, holding out his hand in an offer. Alexis slipped her fingers through his and let him lead the way to his bedroom. She stepped into the room, and her mouth parted. The room was lit in candlelight. The flames danced around the room as he wrapped his arms around her waist. He found the sweet spot behind her ear and kissed.
“When did you have time to do all this?”
“Twenty minutes ago when you were making popcorn and I came upstairs to change.”
“There you go, being all sweet again.”
“I know you said I could touch you, but I kind of forced you into saying yes with the promise of giving you release. I don’t want our first time to be like that. I don’t want to use blackmail for you to agree. Not about this.”
Alexis turned in his arms and kissed his lips again, something that she found she enjoyed more each time. She stepped back, lifted the shirt over her head, and let it slip to the floor at her feet. Reaching behind her, she unhooked her bra and let it slide down her arms. She walked backward to the bed, losing more pieces of clothing as she went, until she was naked. She crawled up into the middle of the oversized mattress. “I choose this. I want you to make love to me.”
Cole shed his shirt, leaving it as he approached the bed. He dropped his track pants and stood nude in front of her. She bit her lips and gripped the comforter, knowing she was in for a long ride.
Cole climbed up the bed and settled between her thighs. Reaching between them, he rubbed his engorged cock against her juices. “I need a condom.”
He reached for the bedside table, pulled out a small packet, and tore it with his teeth. He sheathed the latex down his shaft and hovered over her once again. Holding himself up, with his elbows next to her body, he reached between them and inched his shaft inside her tight channel.
She was hot and ready as she ran her nails down her back.
“I love it when you do that,” he whispered against her neck, kissing her again as he inched in farther. “Damn, baby, you’re so tight, so wet.”
Alexis wrapped her legs around him and used her ankles to help him along the way. “I need to feel all of you. Every last inch.”
Cole slid inside her, filling her, leaving no place untouched. He held still and let her adjust, waiting for her to release her breath. She held his gaze, smiled up at him. He pulled out and slid back in again, starting the rhythm he’d use over and over again. He drove her up to the point of cresting, only to ease back, and then did it all over again, multiple times, until she was withering beneath him.
The cycle continued until she couldn’t take any more. “Please, Cole.”
“I love hearing my name on your lips,” he whispered.
He moved faster, taking her up the hill again.
“Don’t stop this time, please. Come with me. I want to feel your release.”
“Damn, Alexis.” He thrust harder, holding her legs open wide with his arms. He continued to thrust several more times as she held on for the ride, holding, wanting, needing what he gave her and begging for more.
She came, screaming his name, and he continued to move harder, into her once, twice, until he stilled and grunted, shooting his seed into the latex barrier.

    Chapter 9

Alexis woke to the sunlight peeking through the curtains. She stretched her arms out to the side and realized the spot was empty.
“Great…he’s a morning person,” she mumbled and slid out of the bed. Grabbing clothes and toiletries, she moved into the bathroom and didn’t emerge for a full twenty minutes. She took her time in the shower, letting the hot water soak her sore muscles. She took a minute to appreciate the fact they were sore, not that she’d tell Cole that.
Leaving the room behind, she walked slowly down the stairs to the sound of voices in the kitchen. She recognized her brother’s, but not the others. When she rounded the entry way, she spotted Gabe sitting on a stool at the kitchen
