typical routine way.  Both Billy and Aria went to work and came home with whomever of the two arrived first being responsible for making dinner that night.  On Friday night, Aria had plans to go over to Kay’s apartment for a while.  She headed straight there after work knowing Kay had already bought take out for dinner.

They caught up over their meal, talking about usual work stuff without any major news.  After dinner, Aria automatically helped Kay clean up before they moved over to the living room to continue chatting.  They had already chosen a movie for the night, but they opted to talk instead.  Aria was especially keen on this since she felt she had a lot of exciting news to share about her relationship.

“So, that whole thing I was experiencing with worrying about my relationship isn’t really there any more.”

Kay raised an eyebrow and simply responded with, “Oh?”

Aria took a deep breath and proceeded to tell Kay the entire back-story. Aria admitting she had always wanted to try engaging in BDSM and play with a partner, but had never been with anyone she felt comfortable enough with to bring it up, let alone someone she trusted a sufficient amount to actually go through with it.

She went on to say she felt Billy could be that person from a while back but she was too nervous or even afraid to actually bring it up, she ended just ignoring her desires.

“I think that was part of the problem,” she mentioned.

Because she had reached that conclusion on her own the day after discussing the details with Billy.  She realized that in depriving herself of something she had always wanted after finding a partner who actually gave her the comfort and trust she needed, she ended up creating some kind of distance between them when it came to sex.  She knew it wasn’t entirely because of that but it definitely had played a role.

“So how did you finally gather the courage to tell him about it?”  Kay was extremely interested in all this.  She had told Aria she found it fascinating and lamented the fact Aria felt she needed to keep it a secret for so long.

So this launched Aria into the story of how she had happened upon the web page on his laptop, explaining it hadn’t been intentional.  She made it a point to say she didn’t snoop around his things. Kay found this amusing.

“Don’t worry, I’m not sitting her judging you and I don’t think you’re one of those people with no respect for personal boundaries,” Kay had said brokenly between her laughter.

Aria was always glad to talk to her friend about the things going on in her life.  She was especially glad Kay had such a natural sense of humor because it often made it easer to talk to her. Aria didn’t go into specific details of what she had discussed with Billy as she felt those were rather private, especially to him, but she did mention they had that conversation.

“It went well,” Aria concluded with a content smile on her face.

“So have you tried anything since then?”

“No, we haven’t.  We just fell into our workweek routine, but I have a feeling it will happen soon.  As in it will happen this weekend,” Aria grinned slyly.  At these words, Kay suddenly shot up from the couch and walked over to Aria.  “What,” Aria said right before Kay swooped down on her and pulled her up from the couch.

“You need to go ,” she told her insistently.  “You have no reason being here when you have a man waiting for you at home ready to play,” she said.

Aria looked back at her, expecting to see a wide grin on Kay’s face, but she was being serious.  Aria bit her lips, smiled and waved goodbye with a laugh before walking out of the door.  She rushed home and was glad to find Billy sitting in the armchair reading a book.  He was wearing nothing but boxers and tee.

She dropped her keys and purse on the floor and walked right up to
