and their assistance. People are a lot more likely to talk to you when you bring a smile, and free stuff. Learning this industry is no different than learning the drug industry. At the end of the day, everyone wants to make money. The key is to reinforce the idea that Kyle’s company can bring them profit. In this economy people want to hold their money close to their chests and are a lot less likely to gamble it, and that’s pretty much what investing is.
It’s always great to see the astonished look on their faces when they meet me face to face. No one expects me to be a black woman. They quickly try to cover up their surprise and I allow them to make a graceful recovery. In a week I’ve already gotten gifts from companies that are trying to get in front of Kyle. This personal assisting thing isn’t bad at all.

On the other hand, Amanda gets more cantankerous every day. I don’t really know what her problem is because I’ve been nothing but nice to her. Maybe she feels as if I’ve stepped on her territory. I imagine it’s hard to watch me working directly with Kyle’s clients while she’s still serving coffee and picking up dry cleaning. However, that’s not my fault. She should take that up with Kyle.

I’m currently sitting in Kyle’s office, creating his schedule for the upcoming week. He rarely lets me sit at my own desk. I find that odd, especially since he doesn’t want anyone to know about us. I’m sure that most people do know, but they’re too afraid to say anything to him about it. He is not the kind of man that you walk up to and ask about his personal business. He can be intimidating, and I’ve learned to respect him even more this past week. Any man that can make me cum as many times as he can deserves my respect.
My friends have been calling me like crazy because they know that I got a new job, at a ‘fancy place’ downtown. I try to answer their questions as honestly as I can without telling them all of my business. It seems like every time one of them calls me, I’m out with Kyle. Maybe I’ll call them later today and have the long conversation they’ve been craving.
“ Oh, I should have known you were in here,” Amanda says snidely as she enters the office.
“ Yeah, you would think that you would come to expect it by now,” I respond in the same tone.
Hey she started it and I’m not above the occasional cat fight. I’m tired of her snobbish attitude and if I don’t deal with it directly, she’s only going to get worse.
“I must say Camille, you’ve been looking pretty good since you’ve been working here. Your clothes have upgraded tremendously from the time you’ve interviewed. What’s changed between then and now?” she asks with fake interest.
“ A huge part of me is wondering why that’s any of your business. I also wasn’t aware that you watch me so closely. I think you like me.”
“ You’re okay, but I’m sure no one likes you as much as Kyle does. Is he the reason that you’ve gone from rags to riches within the week.”
That bitch! See, if I go west side on her then I’ll probably be arrested and that’s the only thing that’s keeping me from grabbing a handful of her hair and thrashing her head against the desk. I have to just thrash her with my words instead.
“No need in denying it, I know what kind of relationship you have with Kyle and I think it’s pathetic,” she spat. “That’s the only reason he hired you.”
“ I guess I should aim to be more like you. I hear that you have impeccable coffee making skills. You never mess up his order at the dry cleaners, and his car is always clean. You did a really job of getting it detailed. I hate to fuck in a dirty car, and with you around, I won’t ever have to. Screw you, you are just a glorified maid.”

    Check mate!

The look on her face contorted into one of shock, hurt, and rag. I know that I hit her where it hurts. I usually don’t like to hurt people’s
