looked like a deer in headlights.  “Demarion as in Demarion Delvinci.  Are you out of your frigging mind?  What the hell is going on?”
“I will explain everything when we are safe on the plane.”
Leanne looked at her sister.  “Fine!”  Denise turned around to face forward.  Leanne knew by the abrupt disconnection of their conversation that she was pissed.  She knew this was going to happen.  They rode the rest of the way in silence.  They came upon a small airport.  As they came to the gates Mick gave them his name and the gate slid open.  He pulled the car alongside a hug jet.  Quickly they were escorted onto the plane.  Again she was surrounded with the knowledge of how wealthy her husband to be was.
“WOW!  This is great!  This is going to be great!”  This came from a surprised and smiling Brad.
“Shut up Brad.”  Denise angrily stomped to a seat next to a window and sat down staring through the glass.
Leanne walked to sit beside her sister.
“Come on Brad.  Let’s go get a drink.”  Mick led an excited Brad to the back of the plane.
    “Denise we need to talk.”
“Your damn right we do.  You have the nerve to make snide comments to me about having a man in my room when you have been shacking up with the man responsible for the terror we have been living and the death of our father.  What gives you the right.  You are a hypocrite you know that.  Actually worse.  I can’t believe you.”
“Look calm down.  First Demarion isn’t the cause of anything.  Dad killed himself and he is the reason and his gambling problems we are in the mess we are in.”
“Think that all you want.  If it makes you feel better at night while you are lying beside him.”
“Ok.  Enough!  Shut your mouth and listen to me.  Have I ever done anything that would put us in harms way?  Haven’t I made sure we were ok?  Haven’t I tried to make your life better?”
“Yes.  I know what you have done for me Leanne.  You don’t have to tell me.”
“That is not what I am doing Denise.  I love you.  You are all I have and there is a reason behind this.”
“I know Leanne.  It is not in you to rub stuff in.  I just don’t understand.”
“Let me explain it then.  Ok?”
Denise turned to her lifting her leg underneath her.  “Ok.  Shoot.”
“Dad owed the Delvinci family a lot of money.   I know you know this because they showed up at your school.  You just don’t know the circumstances.  When I say a lot of money I mean millions.  I took a second job and have been paying the debt in monthly payments.”
Denise interrupted her.  “Why didn’t you tell me you were doing that?  You know I would have helped.  He was my father too you know.  It is not just your problem.  I know you have took care of me since mom left and you feel responsible for me.  The thing is Leanne I am an adult now.  I am 27 years old and graduating from med school this year because of you.  I can never repay you for what you have done but I can help”
“I know Sweetheart.”  Leanne brushed the hair from Denise’s face and smiled at her.  “The problem is it wasn’t enough.  They wanted bigger payments.  Demarion kidnapped me.”
    “HE WHAT!”
“Just listen to me.  He kidnapped me and brought me to his house.  Which is a huge manor on acres upon acres of land.  Quite beautiful really.  He is not like the rest of them Denise.”
“He kidnapped you.  How is he not?”
“He kidnapped me to keep me safe.  His brother is the one that Dad owed the money to.  The only way to rid ourselves of the debt is to take him up on his offer.”
“What offer?  Are you going to be his prostitute or something?  Come on Leanne.  This is crazy.  What gives him the right to use you like that?”
“No you misunderstand.  The only way to dissolve the debt is if that person is or becomes family.”
Realization sat in as Denise’s eyes widened.  “He wants you to marry
