Local Restaurant to Close

    A health inspector visited Smilin’ Hal’s Off-Campus Eatery last week and threatened to close the place down. He cited it for 1,027 health violations, and that was before he set foot in the kitchen.
    Other diners there at the time say that the inspector took Smilin’ Hal up on his offer of a free lunch, and his gut cramped up so fast that he could not finish his report.
    â€œCome on down!” says Smilin’ Hal. “We’re not closed yet!”
