they would have to run tests on the fish they were feeding the animals. He agreed with her that it could be in the main waterways. She told him she and the men were going to be making a trip out to the waterways to see what they could find in the morning. He agreed with that plan and said he would set her up with a boat and supplies. They agreed to meet in the morning at the lab before setting out on their individual tasks. Erin went back to talk to Myles and Aedan and fill them in. Then they said good night to the staff at the clinic and rode back with Dr. Thompson. He dropped them off at the entrance to the zoo and they took their cart from there. When they arrived at the bungalow, Erin began to get nervous. She was realizing that she was alone with Myles and Aedan. This was real. What happened next? **** He sat back in his office chair pleased with himself. Things were moving along as expected. He had a man watching her and although the Guardians had shown up, he would get her. He had met with his lady and had persuaded her to understand him. He still had a lot of work to do with his angel. She was the one he would have for his own, if he decided she was worthy. She was being a good girl so far, but first he had to fulfill his destiny. She was a big part of that. He had to meet his contact tonight regarding the athame. He was going to get that tonight, no matter who he had to kill. He had the ritual location picked out and he was proud of himself for picking a place that would enrage the Council. He wouldn't have to worry about them once he performed the ritual. He would be more powerful than the Council members combined. He gleefully reveled in that fact for a few moments , but he couldn't let himself get too distracted for too long. He still had a lot to do. He knew that Adrianna was going to be married to the Guardians soon and he wouldn't miss it for the world. He rubbed his hands together, this was going to be fun. **** Myles held the door open for Erin to enter, noting that she suddenly looked nervous. He glanced at Aedan and quirked a brow. Aedan had noticed as well and shrugged at Myles as if to say, 'I don't know. ’ They followed her inside and when the door closed, she physically jumped. "Alright, kitten. What's going on?" Myles demanded. Her eyes grew wide. "What?" Aedan walked over and sat on the couch. He patted his lap. "Come here, honey. Let's talk." Erin walked slowly over to Aedan and he pulled her down to sit on his lap. He nuzzled her neck for a moment and then asked, "What's got you closing up on us?" Erin looked at both men. She knew now was the time to speak her mind. "Where do you see this going? ” She pointed her finger at them and herself. Myles sat down beside them and took her legs to lay them over his lap. "We didn't want to frighten you when we first met you. You are our match, the one that is meant for us." Erin looked back and forth between the two men in shock. She knew she felt a pull toward them, but they were matched? Wow . She thought about what that would mean for her both personally and professionally. She knew things were changing because she had come into her powers. Could she handle another life change by going forward with these two men? She thought back to the last month they had been together and many things came to mind. They drove her to distraction trying to lay down rules for her but they were always with her safety and happiness in mind. They had also done little things to make her happy. They took her on picnics, shopping and there was always one around to talk to about issues in her life. She realized then with shocking clarity that they had wormed their way into her heart. These men were important to her. Try as she might, she couldn't think of the future without them in it.
