me.”
Judith turned to look at him as if he were insane. He could see right then, things might take a turn—for the worse. But again, he would play it cool. “What? We always sit together watching television,” he exclaimed innocently.
“Yeah, but we’re usually watching the movie of the week on the classics channel, or the D.I.Y. channel. Not naked people jacking off!”
“Maybe it’s time we expand our horizons,” he said with a smirk.
“Forget it!” She plopped down on a chair in the corner of the room.
    Not good.
“Oh, come on, Judith. It’s harmless.”
“Harmless? You know everything that has happened up till now seems very suspicious. First, they only had one room, and the room that they put us in is a kinky honeymoon suite. Then this decadent food and now porn. You asked me on the way up here what would I say if you told me you wanted to make love to me. Just be honest with me. Did you plan all this?”
“Hon.” He got up to go to her, to calm her down. But deep down, he knew he’d lost this battle.
“Don’t hon me. You planned this. Why? Why would you want to destroy something so beautiful with sex?”
She got up and ran out the door with tears streaming down her face. Doug couldn’t believe it. Her overreaction startled him. But he didn’t have time to think. He needed to stop her, to explain everything.
“Judith, come back!” He went after her, but she made it out the door and in the elevator that fast. He had only his pajama bottoms on. Think fast man .
He ran to phone and called the front desk.
“Hello. Connie speaking. Hey, how did it...oh, dear.”
“What?” Did Judith hurt herself? Did she drive off? All kinds of things were going through his mind.
“I just saw your friend running and crying in the lobby. She headed to the spa area.”
“Stop her, please.” He fucked up. He knew it. But why this reaction? Judith never got hysterical. There had to be more behind this. “I’m coming down.”
Doug hung up and ran out the door, not bothering to shut it behind him. He didn’t know what he was going to say to her when he found her, but he needed to find her first and foremost.
He arrived in the lobby and went to Connie. “Which way are the spas?”
He heard some whistles and Connie stared at him with a comical smirk.
Doug turned around and saw no less than six female staff members. He looked back at Connie. Her gaze focused on his torso. That’s when he felt a draft.
Oh God! He forgot to put his pajama top on. Could this day get any worse?
“Over there.” She pointed to a pair of French doors, not once taking her eyes of him, or wiping away her smile.
“Thanks.” He ran out the doors that lead out to a courtyard, nearly knocking over one of the staff members. Several cabanas lined a lake. He stood in the middle of the grounds scratching his head. “Where could she be?”
Doug walked through the gardens, past a fountain, and saw a lot of loving couples all paired up and cuddling together. He felt a knot in his stomach. He hoped to God he didn’t ruin it with Judith.
He came up to one of the cabanas where the spas resided and went inside.
    “Hello, may I help you?”
Doug turned to the voice in the corner. A dark haired woman stood behind a reservation desk with pen in hand. “Uh...yeah. I’m looking for someone. Have you seen a very beautiful African-American woman run through here? She had on a black negligee.”
“That’s a new one,” the lady smirked.
“No, you don’t under...” Doug saw a figure out the window. Judith. “Never mind I see her.” He ran out the door.
    “Judith!”
She looked up and their eyes meet. She ran in the opposite direction. Doug didn’t hesitate; he bolted over a little bridge nearly knocking a couple into the drink down below. When he saw Judith flee in another direction, he took a short cut and headed her off. “Judith.” He grabbed both her arms.
“Let me go!” she tried getting out of his grip, but he
