sensation, and she looked into his eyes and smiled, sensually gliding her hips back and forth as they danced.
"This is weird," he said, a smile on his lips.
"I know," she said. "I don't know what's going on."
"Is there something wrong with us?"
She laughed. "I think so."
"You'll tell me when you want to stop, right?"
Keryn smiled and took him by the hands, turning her body and wrapping his arms around her, so he was holding her from behind. He held her tightly, squeezing her body against him. She responded, arching her back and sticking out her ass, grinding it against his crotch.
"Holy fuck," he said, but the words barely reached her ears with the loud music in the bar. He held her hips and they danced like that, her ass rubbing against his crotch.
She turned toward him and hugged him tight. His hands were on her, moving along her back, feeling her body. Keryn lifted her chin, her cheek touching his. He was taller than she was, but she was able to lean close to nuzzle against his ear.
One of the guys from the band tugged on C.J.'s shirt, and they broke off the impassioned embrace. "Hey man," the old fellow said. He looked at Keryn for a moment, then commented to C.J.: "I thought your sister was here."
"Um, she... left," C.J. replied. "This is my girlfriend. Keryn."
"Hey," he said, giving her a cursory nod. "We're loading out the gear. Give a hand with your stuff, all right?"
"Sure. One second."
The guy disappeared into the crowd, and Keryn and C.J. embraced again, arms around each other. Their lips were close, but they didn't touch. "Your girlfriend?"
"Yeah," he said, grinning. "Tonight you're my girlfriend."
"When do I become your sister again?"
He shrugged. "We'll worry about that later, I guess."
He pressed his lips against hers and they kissed. She opened her mouth and sucked at his lips, their tongues touching, sliding together.
"I'll be a while," he said, when the kiss finally broke. "Did you want to hang out here and wait?"
"No," she said. "I'm going to head back to the apartment. You come whenever you're ready. I'll see you there later."
"I'll hurry."
She smiled and smooched him on the lips, then watched as he disappeared into the crowd to find his temporary band mates.
Chapter Seven: What A Mess
There were taxi cabs at the corner, and Keryn got a ride back to her apartment. She went upstairs and peeled her dress off, pulling it up over her head and off her sweaty body. She had some time, so she slipped her panties off and stepped into the shower. Although Keryn usually took hot, hot showers, she let the water run only warm this time. She didn't want her skin to be flushed red when C.J. arrived. She soaped down, freshening herself for the impossible event that she knew she was about to take part in.
Once she was dried off, she wandered into her bedroom. What should she wear? Keryn looked into her closet. She wanted to look beautiful for him. She wanted to look seductive. She wanted there to be no confusion when he arrived.
Should she wear lingerie? Her ex-boyfriend had given her some kinky sex outfits, vinyl corsets and the like, but they didn't seem appropriate for the moment. And besides, since her ex was basically a douche, she didn't much feel like ever wearing those items again. She would get rid of them later, she decided, but for now she simply chose another skimpy red cocktail dress, a little thing with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline.
Suitably attired, she went to the kitchen to wait. She opened a bottle of wine and poured herself a glass, sat down and checked her phone. There was a missed call and a voice message. It was from their mom.
"Oh, shit," Keryn said. She opened the message and pressed the phone to her ear.
"Hi Keryn," the message began. "It's Mom calling. I just wanted to call and see if everything there was okay. I called and spoke to C.J. yesterday and he sounded a little concerned. I just wanted to make sure things there are all right between you two. I
