run from a person, who didn't do anything bad to you, but still, I wasn't used to be around guys, who checked me out so apparently.
But as the luck would have it, he stood up also and approached closer to me. Now his face radiated with curiosity.
The U-bahn stopped and the doors opened. Without missing a beat, I shot forward, straight to the people crowd, hoping to get away from him. But he was stubborn for my luck. He didn't let his eyes even for one second look anywhere else but me. Intimidating much, I said in my mind.
Soon I found myself under the sun and in middle of the city's life. I glanced over my shoulder, trying to see if he was even now following me. No. I didn't see him. I sighed. Good. I lost a person.
But I knew better than to throw a party next to the entrance to the metro. I quickly walked away, choosing the way in which I could find many people, who could hide me from unwanted eyes.
After ten minutes of feeling like a bunny, which was chased by a big wolf, I decided that he should be done with me, if he was still searching for me. But really? Why should he do that? Maybe it was his stop. Maybe he wasn't searching for me, but for his friend.
That kind of things you could imagine when you have such as wild imagination as I had. I could scare myself so much that my brown hair could become white.
I saw an ice-ream coffee and decided to have some ice cream. The day was as warm as you could get in the end of September and that running from my imagined guy, was really tiring.I needed something to cool and strengthen myself.
I sat over one of the free tables. A young woman soon appeared next to me, asking what I would like to have. I told her what I wanted and waited for her to return. She came back soon with my ice-cream.
I thanked her and started eating this sinful thing which could make me fat, but I didn't care. I wanted something else than Anna's salads. Although I was a vegetarian, I still ate eggs, bread, sour cream... but she thought that if I was a vegetarian, I should eat only vegetables and fruits.
I was partway to end my ice-cream when I heard a chair creaking over my table. I lifted my eyes up and saw that guy from the metro.
“Hello,” he said politely and extended his hand toward me. “I am Tobias,” he introduce himself.
Tobias, I said his name in my mind. This name seemed so familiar that I even wanted to say it out loud, to hear how it sounded when I tell it. But I killed that desire and I dropped my gaze at his hand, trying to decide what I should do with it. He saw my hesitation, but instead of taking it like an insult, he started laughing. I frowned.
“I am sorry for my behavior. I didn't want to scare you or anything.”
I nodded, accepting his apologize. He smirked, happy that I didn't kick him away from my table.
“So, what's your name?” he asked as the waitress came and asked if he wants something. He ordered the same ice-cream which I tried to overcome.
“Vanessa,” I said quietly, hoping that he wouldn't hear it and be too polite to ask me to repeat when I had already told it.
“Vanessa,” he said, letting his tongue to test how my name sounded. I felt that strange vibes again. This time it didn't freak me out like previous time, but, still, it forced me to feel uncomfortable.
“Yes, Tobias,” I said, also testing his name with my tongue. His smirk grew wider on his face, while my frown only deepened. “My name is Vanessa,” it was strange to say Vanessa and not Trinity. I loved my name more than my new one. My name was really rare, making me truly special. And Vanessa... it was often used. You could walk straight into the shopping mall and shout this name. I bet that more than ten Vanessas would appear.
“Nice name,” he said a compliment, but it didn't melt my heart.
“Thank you,” I said, looking now only at my ice- cream without any appetite.
“Sorry, if I have scared you. I didn't want to do that. I just... You seemed...” he didn't know how
