herself say, to which the billionaire had sent her a hooded glance that made Serenity squirm on the table. If he had told her it was because he wanted to tell the world he was with her, she might have changed her mind. If he had told her something that would assure her she was exactly what he wanted – the way Daniel Raleigh had not been able to accept her – Serenity would have surrendered to his desire.
But the billionaire hadn’t.
Instead, he had leveled a look at her and said quietly, “Just because I don’t love you doesn’t mean I’m going to play the field.”
It might have been the truth, but all she heard was the words ‘I don’t love you.’ For the insecure Serenity, the rest of what the billionaire had to say did not matter. What mattered was that he did not love her while she loved him, and her mind, made overly imaginative by love and jealousy – two emotions she had never really felt until Willem had come into her life – twisted the words into something else.
He did not love her, but it didn’t mean he couldn’t love someone else.
And so Serenity had remained unbent on the subject. He could have everything else but not that. Shane was not to know, and therefore as far as the world was concerned, her sister was still his on/off date, and Serenity was still Willem Jr., his perfect intern and nothing else.
“You will not change your mind about this?” her billionaire had asked.
Serenity had lifted her chin. “No.”
The billionaire had given her a thoughtful look. “So be it.” She had expected him to be annoyed by her stubbornness, but instead his lips slowly curved into a devastatingly beautiful smile that threatened to have her heart leaping out of her chest. “It should make things exciting at least,” the billionaire had murmured.
The words had bemused her until she came to work next day, and the billionaire’s first order had been to stand facing the tinted glass partition that separated his office from the rest.
Serenity blinked. “W-what?”
“You heard me.” His tone was bland and a small smile played on his lips as he spoke. But his eyes were utterly serious, and Serenity found herself shakily moving to follow him.
She faced outwards in his office, trembling while she waited for his next command. Outside, the rest of the staff working at the executive floor continued with their day-to-day work, all of them oblivious to what was taking place behind closed—
Oh.
Her head snapped towards the door. “It’s not locked,” she gasped.
He arched a brow. “And?”
She gasped again. “But what if someone enters?”
“Has anyone ever tried to without knocking and waiting for either of us to answer?”
Even as she shook her head, she stammered, “But what if—” He came to stand beside her as he spoke, and her voice trailed off when the billionaire’s large, strong hands clasped her waist.
Willem watched her swallow, and all he could think about was how it would feel if his beautiful angel swallowed his cum. Slowly, her head turned, Serenity seeking his gaze over her shoulder, and he stared back at her, making no attempt to hide his rampant hunger for her.
“ Willem. ”
Hearing his sweet, perfectly composed Serenity, so undone as she whimpered his name out, snapped his control. With a growl, he took her mouth with his, kissing her with almost brutal force. His body slamming against her back, he pushed her towards the glass wall and pressed her hands flat against the cold panes.
Whimpering in protest when the billionaire wrenched his mouth off, she whimpered again when she felt his mouth run down the side of her neck before sucking hungrily at her madly beating pulse. He sucked so hard it was almost like he was drinking her blood, and her toes curled even as she protested, “D-don’t make a mark.”
But her Dutch billionaire only laughed and proceeded to do just that. It was not something she had ever experienced, but she was no idiot, and she
