mean anything on the weekend so they continued to lie there in bed as the sun was shining directly into them. They did not answer any calls that came into their phones. The door was never answered as the love birds lay side to side in their warm bed. The wine and roses that James had brought along were still on the kitchen counter. They lay there with no one paying attention or even worrying about a vase and ice. To Cynthia, that was the sole reason she had left her home. It was the new life that she had been waiting for. She had waited all her life to be swept off her feet by a brother whom she knew her mother would love. Petty issues such as the stares that she would get from the other tenants or the opinion of the truckers on her man did not matter anymore. She was in love and she wanted to remain that way forever. The birds started chirping as if they were clapping in applause for the new couple. The sea sent a beautiful breeze into her window as if to say, I approve ! The sun kept them warm outside to emulate the warmth that they were feeling inside. When one is in love the only thing they think about is what is going to come next. Was this couple going to stand the test of time? Since they both had a history of broken engagements, could they make it all the way to the alter? Only time will tell.
