and made her sigh and gasp.
He bit her lips softly and sucked on them as his fingertips dipped into her and rubbed her harder, stealing her breath away from her and drawing up a hot fire; his touch making her squirm.
Kyle's expression grew dark and haunted, and in a breathless and husky voice, he spoke in her ear, "Come for me... come for me, baby. Do it... come for me." Moments later, she gasped and clung to him, kissing him hard and crying out as the pleasure he gave her washed over her and momentarily paralyzed her.
Satisfied at least a little that he had brought her that pleasure, they walked into a fine restaurant and he was immediately seated at a private table in the back.
"This place is very discreet. None of them will remember that I am here, or who I am with, and that's one of the reasons I love coming here. It's hard to get good service and these people are some of the very best at it," he told her with a smile.
They were seated at their table near a simple waterfall, one that bubbled and gurgled as it moved behind them.
"Wow! This is a beautiful place,” she said with a grin and a decidedly open and honest demeanor.
Her wonder caught Kyle off guard. He'd brought Veronica to the same restaurant several times over the course of their marriage and she had never once even noticed any part of it around her, let alone be impressed by it. It was refreshing to him.
"I love the way you look at things. You seem to notice what should be obvious to everyone and isn't obvious to anyone at all. That's a gift,” he told her with a smile.
She grinned back at him. They ordered a nice dinner and after the wait staff took their order, Kyle stood up and held his hand out to her. "Would you care to dance?" he asked as if he had just stepped out of a classic movie.
Brandy nodded and rose to her feet. He took her hand and walked with her to a small dance floor where only the two of them stood with no one else around. It was a truly private area, meant for important people who wanted to stay clear of wandering eyes.
Music began to play and he closed his arm around her waist and guided her around the floor gracefully. She floated like a feather on the water.
Kyle was impressed with her. "This is a surprise. How did you learn to dance?" he asked, smiling and taking her in, in her entirety.
"My grandfather taught me. I used to dance with him all over the house, and sometimes when we were lucky enough to go out to dinner together." She smiled as memories swam past her eyes.
He watched her curiously. "Is he still alive, your grandfather?" He felt that he must already know the answer to that question, but he wanted to ask her, anyway.
She grew sad for a moment and kept dancing with him. "He passed away a few years ago." She looked up at Kyle and said wistfully, "You know, this is the first time I've danced at all since I last danced with him. Can you believe it?"
He laughed and nodded. "I can believe it,” he told her with a smile, and then he stopped dancing and leaned down to her, pulling her into his arms. He lowered his mouth to hers and kissed her lightly, softly, almost like butterfly wings had landed and fluttered on her lips and then flown away.
She caught her breath and drew it in like a sailboat. "That was incredible,” she whispered to him. He knew she was right. It was incredible.
"A fine assessment, Miss Keller." He grinned at her then and turned her back toward the table. "I'm discovering that many things with you, that I once believed to be no more than mere trinkets or just a backdrop of my life, are in fact much more interesting and fun than I ever knew they were. What a lesson for me to learn." He lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed it, his lips lingering there on her skin for a moment, and sending a jolt of electricity through them both that they felt all over their bodies.
A knowing look passed between them, one that was filled
