fountain.
“No.” He said harshly and then looked her up and down. “Good. You did
as you were told? ”. For a moment she glanced up at him
meekly.
“I’ve done what I was told all day. Each text you sent me I obeyed
immediately”.
He grunted his approval as his eyes scanned the plaza. It was still
fairly light for this time of the evening.
“I know you were very busy in the office today. I thought I’d call just
for a second, to see what you wanted to eat tonight. Your secretary………”
“I’ve told you never to call the office.” He snapped.
“I know. I’m sorry” She said quietly, her eyes looking down focusing on
her boots.
She shivered slightly. It was starting to get cold and a light drizzle
of rain was starting to fall. Richard adjusted his scarf and pulled together
the collar of his coat.
“Did you do everything?” he asked.
“I told you, yes. Everything.” She said.
    “Show me”.
Nervously she looked around her. The plaza was quiet. Just a few people hurrying past on their way home. Turning
towards him she slowly unbuttoned the large rubber buttons of the nylon
raincoat she wore. Cautiously she held the front edges together before parting
them as wide as she dared. He looked at her. Beneath the coat she was naked.
    “Good.” He remarked abruptly.
Suddenly a voice spoke behind her and she jumped and hurriedly pulled
together the front of the raincoat, her nervous fingers fumbling to fasten the
clumsy rubber buttons. Richard’s secretary strode up beside them. His face
beamed a wide smile.
“Claire, did you finish the minutes of the meeting?”
“No, George Parker called, just after you left, to confirm for Friday.
I’ll finish them at home tonight”
    Richard nodded his approval.
“Karen, how are you?” Claire asked inquisitively. Karen felt incredibly
self- conscious. The flimsy material of the raincoat gave the feeling that it
was almost see through, although she knew it was not.
“I’m fine. Thank you.” Karen answered. She was nervous and felt again
the discomfort she always felt in the presence of Richard’s secretary. She had
an imposing air of superiority and Karen always felt that Claire looked down on
her. She was tall, very attractive and had long golden blonde hair. Further more she knew that Richard and Claire had a mutual
appreciation of each other that went beyond the role of secretary and boss.
While Richard and Claire talked business Karen looked around and caught
the reflection of the three of them in the large glass windows of the office
block main entrance. How wretched she looked. Richard stood tall, elegant in
his suit and overcoat, his hair swept back, his features masculine and strong.
Claire looked immaculate in her skirt and jacket, her blouse open slightly at
the neck revealing an admirable cleavage. Karen had always felt inferior to
her, she had large breasts and Karen’s relatively flat chest never stood a look
in. Claire’s long slender legs caught the eye and led to slim ankles and feet
encased in expensive classy black heeled shoes. Her hair shone, even in the
drizzling rain.
Between them and looking like a lost waif stood Karen, her brown hair
tousled by the rain, her figure hidden and flat, she looked like some throw
back from the sixties stood there in a nylon raincoat and knee high leather
boots. Even with the heels on her boots she only came to just above shoulder
height against Claire. The raincoat she noticed was somewhat shorter than she
had thought, some six inches of thigh was visible from the top of the boots to
the hem of the coat. She would need to be careful and watch that she did nothing
to make the hem rise too high. But then of course that would have been exactly
why Richard had told her to wear it.
“How has your day been?” Claire asked drawing her suddenly from her
thoughts.
    “Oh I, well I’ve….”
“I’ve sent her a few text messages today.” Richard said. “Things to be getting on
