Thomas
badly I want you? How much I want to drink from your pussy
until you come down my throat? I want to fuck you. I want to bend
you over this seat and slam my cock as deep into you as I can
go.”
    “ Make me come, Thomas.
Please?” He rocked again and then slid his fingers into her heat.
He’d been wrong, she wasn’t hot. She was fucking molten. “Please. I
need this. Help me.”
Thomas could feel the sweat bead on
his back. Even with the hot water slushing down over him, he was
still sweating, and kicked off his pants. Touching his finger to
her hard nubbin, he spread her legs wider as she rocked into his
touch. As badly as he wanted to bury himself deep inside of her, he
wanted her to come for him even more. Pinching her clit again, he
tugged at her nipple and bit into her flesh at her shoulder when
she cried out. His cock, full and aching, released all over her as
she cried out again and again. He knew the mistake he’d made, but
could find no reason right then to regret it. Christ, he wanted
more. But what he’d done had sealed the deal for them.
    Thomas had just marked his
mate.

Chapter 4

Linyah wasn’t sure how she felt about
her male. He was quiet and she could tell that he was upset about
something, but instead of just telling her what was going on, he
simply moved about the room as if he had the weight of the world on
his shoulders. Finally she told him to sit down. He only stood
there looking at her for a long time.
    “ You’re very bossy. Has
anyone ever told you that before?” He didn’t sit down but continued
to move about the room, driving her insane. “And I don’t take well
to orders. You want me to do something, then you ask. Politely. I’m
not any more an animal than you are. Not right now, at any
rate.”
“ You won’t do it anyway,
so I might as well get something out of this. I want to know what
happened.” He cocked a brow at her, and she felt her face heat up.
“I mean with Zin, the surgeon. She said that she healed me. Why did
she change her mind? She had to know that her brother was going to
die for his actions. Why on earth did she think that me being sick
would make anyone set him free? I just don’t understand how her
mind was working in this. If it was at all.”
    “ I don’t know what she
said to your brother, but he told me what I told you. And I agree.
There had to be more than her just wanting him released. And to
keep you from healing makes no sense either. Nic said she refuses
to talk until she’s released. Will that happen, you
think?”
Linyah shook her head. Her sister
didn’t like her, but there was no way she’d let a criminal
go.
“ Did you know that you’re
going to have to behead her? I mean, be the one that carries out
the sentence?”
    “ Yes. It’s a part of my
job as head of security. But I’m not going to have to do this one.
Nic said he’d take care of it for me.” She was distracted and
didn’t notice right away that he’d stopped moving and was staring
at her. “What is it now?”
“ You’re not even going to
have a trial for her? See what you could have done to make it so
she didn’t try to kill someone else?” She wanted to point out that
if she were dead, she wouldn’t be hurting someone else, but he
continued. “Is this how your kind deals with people? You simply
kill them without benefit of them saying why they did
it?”
“ She tried to kill me. I
think that in and of itself is enough to have her beheaded, don’t
you? Or do you wish now she’d finished the job?” He was on top of
her in a heartbeat. As he moved down her body, he pulled the shirt,
which he’d tossed at her when they came out of the bathroom, from
her shoulder. The place where he’d bitten her was hot and she
wanted to beg him to bite her again. “What are you
doing?”
“ Do you think I like the
fact that you were nearly killed by this woman and there is nothing
I can do about it? I nearly lost you today. What would have
happened to us if…?”
