look at
Rori
“ Come over at seven to help
me get ready?” I see a look of shock on her face which is quickly
replaced with complete elation as she squeals and hugs me. She’s
talking a mile a minute about our outfits when all the sudden Ryan
all but dives across the table a Liam.

Chapter
Thirteen

    Liam

    O h
man the look on Ryan’s face is priceless I
can’t help but smile looking over at Gracie and Rori I shake my
head, this night is going to get interesting. The way Rori and
Gracie seem to be planning it’s almost as if they’re plotting
something, I almost let out a laugh at the thought my smile is
getting bigger, so big it’s almost a cheesy smile. When I look back
at Ryan he’s pissed off, letting a little chuckle out which causes
him to dive across the table at me. I was sitting far enough back
that he couldn’t grab me so I scoot back a little further I hear
Gracie snap “What the hell is wrong with you?” Keeping my locked on
Ryan’s I wait for him to make the next move I don’t dare tell
Gracie what I think’s going on Gracie looks at me when he doesn’t
answer. I run my hand through my hair slowly standing up which
causes Ryan to stand.
“ Guys what the hell is going
on?” Gracie snaps at us shaking my head again,
    “ Nothing Farfalla, nothing
at all. I’ll see you later.” Walking off before anyone can say
anything.

    Ryan
Watching that fuck smile at my misery
just pisses me off, he doesn’t get to enjoy watching me in this
situation, not anymore.
“ What the fuck was that
Ryan?” Gracie snaps I refuse to answer that so I just shake my
head. One day she’s going to understand.
“ You know what Ryan?” she
just stairs at me while I stair back as I fight to keep my shit
together so that I don’t snap at her. When I don’t answer “I’m
done.” she walks away shaking her head. Letting out a sigh, I head
to my locker grabbing -w my books and head to my car. I can’t stand
this I’m writing her that letter tonight and I’ll have to find a
way to give it to her, she can’t have it at school. I’m taking a
huge risk with even writing it. As I pull up to my house I shoot
Gracie a text,

Ryan - Won’t be at the
track tonight.
    Gracie - WTF why
not?
Ryan - Well I have some
shit to take care of before tonight.
    Gracie - Speaking of
tonight, is there a reason you didn’t tell me yourself?
Ryan - Well you don’t talk
to me other than our projects and track…
    Gracie - Whatever Ryan I’ll
see you tonight…
    Ryan - It’s a costume
party… Halloween and all…
    Gracie - Later.
    Ryan - Later.

With a sigh, I get out and head into
the house. Dads at his office and mom isn’t home. I’m not sure what
she does during the day but I know she’s home in time to get dinner
ready for me after training but dad has a trip to take this weekend
and mom always goes with him so she’s probably doing last minute
shopping. Walking into the kitchen I put my backpack on the table
and head to the fridge. Mom left me a note.

    Figlio,
    Had some shopping to do
won’t be home until next week your father has some business to
do.
Money in the drawer for you
if you need anything. Be safe
    Love
    Mama

Gabbing my soda I head up to my room. I
can’t stand this anymore pulling out a paper I start to
write.

    Gracie,
    We’ve known each other our
whole lives, when we were young it was always you, me and Liam,
almost as if it was us against the world. When we were 15 things
started to change. Most of it you didn’t see I think the only thing
you did see was that Liam left that summer and when he came back he
was different. Has been ever sense but there are other things you
need to know and I think this will help you understand many other
things…
