things got out of hand pretty fast. I should have prepared you,” he offered.

“I should care but I don’t. I...I don’t know why but I think that all the growling and biting is fucking hot!” I told him. Yeager chuckled.

“I’m glad you think so. I think you’re pretty hot. Damn, I could watch you come like that all day,” he said. I blushed but not from embarrassment. Then I had a thought.

“When do I get to see you, the real you,” I asked. I didn’t know if this was the real Yeager or the wolf he became was, maybe both were, but he knew what I meant.

“I’ll show you tonight. It’s always better by moonlight,” he said.

    “What is?” I wondered.

“You’ll see,” he told me. I didn’t know what he meant but I was eager to find out. I cupped his angular face in my hands and kissed the sexy biker. I felt like this would all come crashing down, that I’d realize what was happening and freak out or something but it didn’t happen. Maybe he was right. Maybe we were meant for each other. Maybe I was born for him and he was born for me. My mind was still a bit clouded from our lovemaking and my thoughts were a bit too deep to truly contemplate.

“We should get back to the cabin. We’re exposed out here,” Yeager told me after I kissed him.

“Are we in danger?” I wondered.

“Not immediately but I suspect Dolan isn’t going to let this go. We’re a long way from Gold Canyon and he’d have to be a lot closer to scent us. Still we shouldn’t assume anything,” he explained.

“What are we going to do? We can’t live here forever in that old cabin,” I asked.

“Too bad. I’d love to have you all to myself in a place like this,” Yeager replied with a sly smile. That did sound pretty nice. “I’m still thinking on it,” Yeager continued more seriously. “I’ll have made a decision by tomorrow. This will come to a head whether we want it to or not. I’d prefer it did on our terms,” he told me. I was more than willing to let Yeager take the lead. I was in over my head and I felt as if there was more going on than either of us knew. But curiously, I suddenly could detect a scent.

“I can smell you,” I said. Yeager cocked his head and frowned.

“I didn’t get a shower but we went swimming. I can’t smell that bad,” he complained. That wasn’t what I smelled, however.

“No, your scent. I can smell your scent. I thought it was some strange cologne when we met but it’s your scent like you can detect mine. I’m sure of it,” I explained and breathed deeply. I could definitely detect his scent, faintly but it was there and I knew it was Yeager’s.

“That’s strange. I’ve never heard of a woman being able to do that. Then again, what do I know? I’ve never done any of this before. Still it’s a bit odd I’ve never heard of such a thing,” he said but without too much concern in his voice. That made me wonder.

“You’re weren’t a...virgin, were you?” I asked not taking his meaning.

“What? No! You might be my mate, but that didn’t mean I’ve been celibate,” Yeager replied and then laughed loudly. “I meant I’ve only got one mate and you’re her so I’ve never experienced this process. I’ve only heard tales of how it goes but each is somewhat different,” he explained further.

“Oh, good. I don’t what to know details but I think I prefer a man with some experience,” I said. He laughed again.

“Well, I’m experienced and we’ll leave it at that,” he told me. I smiled at him, not begrudging those other lucky women because they weren’t Yeager’s mate. I was. I felt so comfortable with him like I belonged by his side. I guess if he was right, I did. I didn’t freak at the thought but it was still a bit hard to swallow even if I did like the idea. “Let’s get dressed and head back. I’m hungry,” he said interrupting my thoughts and kissed me once more
