car-park late one night, after work. I was only 18 at the time, and about as naive as any girl could be at that age! I explained how I eventually agreed to let him have sex with me, in the back of his car, all for the paltry sum of £60.
Jamie was understandably shocked, but said that girls at his school were always going with guys in their cars, so it turns out that I was hardly as daring as I may have felt at the time.
“ Yeah but I bet that they weren't getting paid for it, surely?” I asked, as I looked across and up at him as we walked into the bracing wind.
“ Well no, probably not...” he laughed back.
“ There you go then, it's hardly something to look back and be proud of is it, after-all I was a ' straight A' student up until that point!”
“ What other experiences have you had then?” he asked.
I paused, not really knowing what I should or shouldn't share with my new friend , but then I thought ' what the hell ' as I began to describe how I'd ended up agreeing to meet a guy who came into my workplace, at the bank. I told him how I'd just met my fiancée, but that we weren't actually dating seriously at that point, and with him being 10 years older, I hadn't even begun to realise that we were going to end up getting so serious, and eventually getting engaged.
“ So how old was this guy then, the guy that came into the bank, the one that had asked you to meet up with him - outside work?”
I paused, not really wanting to admit his age.
“Come on how old was he?” he pressed.
“ About forty, I guess...” I replied shamefully.
“ And how old were you at the time?”
    “ Just twenty...”
“ Christ, so what happened then, when you met him?”
“ Well I didn't agree to meet him at first, because as I said, I wasn't sure if John (my future fiancée) was interested in me in the long term or not, as we'd only been out a handful of time.”
“ But you met him eventually though?”
“ Yes, a few weeks later...”
    “ And what happened?”
I paused, really wishing that I hadn't started this story, but knowing that I had to finish it now, before looking straight ahead, into the wind and describing how I'd agreed to get a taxi over to his place, and give him a blow job , after one of my many girl's nights out.
“ But I thought he'd want to have sex with you?”
    “ He did, yes...”
“ And did he pay you too?”
“ Yes, he offered me quite a lot of money, it was £300, and I can remember that I ended up sucking him whilst still wearing my little black clubbing dress.” I replied shamefully.
“ Surely he pressed for sex though, for that much money?”
“ Of course,” I began, before adding “but I had his sworn agreement that he couldn't have penetrative sex with me, before I agreed to travel over to his place.”
“ You were taking a big risk though..”
“ I know, but I'd had far too much to drink, it was a crazy thing to do, but you know what,” I began, as I smiled across at him “I used the cash to buy John a Play-Station 3, the following morning, and ended up giving it to him as a present!”
“ So I guess that you started dating John properly after that lovely gift?” he laughed.
“ Pretty much, yes!” I smirked, as I playfully bashed Jamie on the arm.
The  thing that I liked most of all about Jamie, was the fact that he didn't seem to be judging me, as I admitted these past indiscretions; and especially as I told him things that not even my closet friends knew about me, he just listened and asked more questions and I quite liked that. Maybe it was the fact that I knew that he was younger than me, and that I didn't actually view him as boyfriend material , that I was willing to share so much about my life – even after last night's hallway episode, which thankfully hadn't been brought up in the whole time that we had been walking and talking.
