Kristen, he truly wanted someone to be with him. Not just anyone but Kristen.
Going over and seducing her passed through his mind but he thought better of it. He needed to give her some space and he needed to think of a plan to make this work.

Kristen’s heart was racing as she walked out the door. She couldn’t believe she had told him she would have sex with anyone she wanted. She had half-expected him to follow her and was a little disappointed he didn’t.
She went home and had dinner with Kimberly.
“What happened last night? I know you texted me that you wouldn’t be home. Where did you stay?” she asked with a curious glint in her eye.
“I had a date with Logan and I spent the night.”Kristen really hoped Kimberly would leave it at that but she wasn’t so lucky.
    “Did you?”
    “Yes.”
“Wow. I was beginning to think it would never happen, and then you go out with banners flying. With Logan Anderson. And yet look at you. You don’t look smug and happy like you should. Are you ok?”
“I think so. I don’t know if I’ll see him again. He’s really not the commitment type.”  Kimberly pursed her lips. Kristen could tell that her friend didn’t like that Logan had taken her and then discarded her.
“Don’t be angry, Kim. I knew what I was getting into and he didn’t make me any promises. He was honest and it was my decision.”
“If he hurts you, I’ll slice him open and chop up his guts.” And then Kimberly changed the subject, for which Kristen was grateful.
The thing she couldn’t tell her friend was that he had already hurt her and there was little either of them could do about the situation.
Kristen would work with him and get along with him for the sake of the center but she had to purge him from her mind.
She dressed the next morning for her date with Carlos straight after work. She wore her sexiest outfit and denied the fact that she was wearing it for Logan.

Kristen walked in wearing a black, skin-tight dress that hugged every curve she had. She had also let her hair down and it flowed in waves down her back.
The dress was cut low in the front and back so her translucent skin was visible.  Logan wanted to throw her on her desk and have his way with her. She wasn’t playing fair.
Shanna took one look at Kristen and then at Logan’s expression and laughed out loud. Logan glared at her. Shanna just grinned, mumbling, “Never a dull moment at this job, boss.”
Logan turned to Kristen. “You look nice today. Is all this for me? I’m flattered.”
“If you remember, I have a date and won’t have time to change. I guess you could say this is for him. Sorry to disappoint you.” She sashayed into her office, knowing full well his eyes were glued to every swing of her hips.
Logan started to follow her but then remembered their truce. He would allow her this round, but at five o clock sharp all bets were off.
Work passed by quickly because they had a lot of kids coming in and then the grand opening needed their attention as well.
Logan was denied his five o’clock round two because Carlos came early.
Logan was so livid he had to use all the self-control he had to keep from breaking the man in two, and then into fours, and then into easily manageable pieces he could scatter in a river somewhere. The way his eyes followed Kristen made Logan want to strangle him. Never mind that he had been staring at her all day. She was his and he could stare all he wanted.
Kristen came by and said her good byes. Logan only glared at her and she gave him her brightest smile.
    Carlos walked her out.
Logan decided to make sure nothing happened. He told Shanna to lock up and nearly knocked her over getting out to his car.
“Please follow them,” he told Ed.
“Sure thing, boss.” “Do you want me to follow so they can’t see us?” Ed
