that image to be hot. Incendiary, even. She wanted their little adventure to stay in Luke’s mind long after the weekend was over. To be something he’d remember when he’d moved on to the new job, one of those moments in his life that lived on forever as the best sex he’d ever had.
No pressure, though.
Gia rolled her freshly made-up eyes, rubbed her pinkie under her lip to get rid of a lip-gloss smudge, then squared her shoulders.
Was she ready?
Stepping as far back as the bathroom would allow, she gave her reflection a narrow look.
She’d replaced the stockings Luke had ripped in their last encounter with sheer white ones that had tiny pink rosebuds along the thighs. Instead of going naked, she’d slid on a tiny satin slip, one that dipped so low at the breasts it was held up only by her desire-hardened nipples.
Her body was primed; just one touch would set her off.
She was about as ready as she was going to get.
With a deep breath, she slid her robe’s satin sash from one hand to the other, then stepped into the bedroom. And paused for effect. Since this was going to be Luke’s last view of her for the next few hours, she was determined to make it a good one.
“Ready?” she asked, leaning her shoulder against the wall to give Luke a long seductive look. “Got that hunger issue all taken care of?”
Determined to keep his strength up, she’d called room service to bring him a snack. Time to serve herself up as dessert.
“All fueled up and ready to rock.” Luke’s grin flashed but faded fast as his gaze took her in. The look in his eyes smoldered with passion, hot and enticing. She shivered as her body responded, wishing for a second that they hadn’t made the bet. Because that look of his was one of the biggest turn-ons she’d ever seen.
“You’re serious about this?” he asked, rising from the bed and walking over to meet her. “I’m not sure I want to deprive myself of such a gorgeous view.”
“Think of the challenge,” she said, stepping close enough to steep herself in his energy, in the warmth of his body. Then, before she could give in to the need to nibble her way down his chest, she lifted the wide satin belt from her robe. “C’mon, let’s get you suited up so the games can begin.”
His eyes were full of heat and his smile wicked. Gia wondered if he could see her heart pounding at her chest as if it were trying to escape. For once, her nerves didn’t bother her. They only added another layer of wow to the sexual excitement.
“Just one second,” he told her.
Before she could ask why, he slid one hand beneath her hair to cup the back of her neck. His eyes locked on hers and he leaned into the kiss. Their lips melded together, a perfect fit. Gia couldn’t look away, couldn’t even blink, as his gaze heated. That look made their kiss all the more intense. As if he were peering all the way into her soul to memorize every sexual secret she had. The look in his eyes promised that he’d using every one of those secrets against her soon.
Gia shivered, barely holding back her moan.
Then, knowing she wouldn’t be able to in a second, Gia pulled away.
“Game time,” she said, her words as shaky as her breath. With a quick arch of her brows as if to say “C’mon, big boy,” she held up the satin tie again. “Take one last look, because I’m about to win me a bet.”
“Babe, I’m better blindfolded than most men dream of being on their best day,” he told her with a grin. Then, after brushing another quick kiss over her lips and making her sigh, he sat on the bed and gestured for her to go ahead.
She’d write that off to the usual male bravado, but given his performance so far, she could only give a purring sort of hum.
“This is going to be fun,” she said decisively as she stepped between his very naked muscled thighs and leaned closer to wrap the satin around his head. It was long enough to wrap twice, so she did, then tied it into a snug knot.
