the
foreign words being spoken weren’t about admiring her business savvy. Who said
using sex appeal wasn’t a good idea?
Twenty minutes later the contract was
signed and with every line item met, no dickering. Kaela was more than
satisfied with the terms of the deal. And she was proud of herself. Watching
the group of men walk into the crowd, she had a feeling they were going to go
buck wild. She chuckled at the thought.
    “You did very well tonight,
exceptional in fact. The promotion is yours,” Broden said.
“Thank you. I think I did do very
well.” She was thrilled at the promotion. She’d worked very hard during the
last few months.
    “Time to celebrate
with a drink, maybe more.”
    Kaela resisted the bait.
    Inching closer, Broden brushed her
hair from the back of her neck. “Would you enjoy finding out?”
“Would I enjoy finding out what?”
“Just how much we do have in common.
We’re both formidable, but I think you know what you want and what you need. I
also think you know I’m the man who can give that to you.”
Kaela tingled. God, the man was
arrogant. The cat and mouse game had kicked into another level, a dangerous one
and yet very enticing. “What do you have in mind?”
“Tell me something, sexy vixen. Do
you long to have a man in control? Take you and fuck you, use you and train you
to be the submissive you know you have in your heart and soul?” Broden circled
her again, finally stopping in front of her, just inches away. Lowering his
voice until the breathless husk was merely a whisper, he kept his eyes locked on her face. “Do you spend night after night wishing and
hoping for a man who understands you, can take you to
new heights of ecstasy?”
    “What?”
“Yes, do you long to submit, sharing
your innermost desires?”
For so many reasons the words stilled
her. Stunned, her lower lips quivered. Kaela was shivering as he brushed his
fingers across her cheek. The pulse of the room had changed. Men and women
suddenly hushed their conversations. Faces appeared full of anticipation, as if
they were playing out their own personal fantasies in whatever decision they
made. Self-conscious, her hand floated across her mouth, holding in a strangled
moan. For a few seconds no one said anything. Only the pumping music, full of
electric vibe, allowed anyone in close proximity to understand the lingering
question.
“And do you wish to succumb to one
man for the rest of your life, becoming his submissive, perhaps his slave? Do
you know the only way you’re going to be fulfilled is in giving in to him
completely and forever?”
The words hanging in the air, Kaela
was breathless with excitement, her pussy aching with a desire like she’d never
known. Suddenly there was no other sound in the room, no one else longing for
attention. There was just the two of them. And she knew the answer. “Yes.”

Chapter
Three

Broden had stood on the top of the
stairs, watching Kaela the moment she graced his doorstep for several minutes.
Of course he’d known she would be a professional, making certain the clients
would indeed sign the contract, but he wanted to see how she’d react to the
setting, the invitation itself. The way she’d reacted at the club had been fascinating, making him very glad he’d hosted the party. Her
enjoyment teasing every man at the party was his final realization she was a
minx in disguise. He continued to be pleasantly surprised.
For a few minutes he’d gauged the
way she was interacting with guests, her interesting mannerisms in handling
men, who were longing to taste a darker side of her. The business meeting had
gone better than even he’d anticipated and now he’d offered her more. What
would she do? It was time to find out.
“And do you wish to succumb to one
man for the rest of your life, becoming his submissive, perhaps his slave? Do
you know the only way you’re going to be fulfilled is in giving in to him
completely and forever?”
