Sinking down on the couch in her white, strapless maxi dress with a mint green leafy print, Nahni rubbed her swollen belly and grinned. “You and Dakota would have pretty babies. He has the dreamiest eyes I’ve ever seen. I bet he just makes you melt huh?”
“Nahni! For crying out loud, we’ve only been on one date ,” Angel cried out.
“Yeah, a date you didn’t come home from until the next morning, woot, woot!”
Angel cracked up laughing, shaking her head. “Damn, girl I can’t even deny it. Swept me right off my feet he did.”
“Oh I bet you were off your feet .” Nahni’s howling laughter was contagious. Angel was giggling right along with her until her brother came inside looking at them like they had both lost their minds which only made them laugh harder.
“I could hear you two hens cackling all the way over by our trailer. What the hell is so funny?” Rage gave them an amused look.
“Oh, we were just talking about how Dakota had Angel off her feet all night long.”
“Nahni Anne Vega , you wretched wench! If you weren’t preggo with my precious niece I would…”
“Wow, looks like I got here just in time , although I’m a little early.” Dakota was standing at the door that Rage had left open, grinning from ear to ear. “I like what you’re wearing, baby. You look gorgeous.”
Angel squealed and took off for her bedroom still wrapped in just a towel, blushing fiercely when she heard the laughter behind her as she slammed the door shut.
“I guess I better take her the clothes she left here on the couch since you sent her off and running, Dakota.” In a voice loud enough for Angel to hear she said, “Of course, I don’t know why she’s running since you’ve already seen what the good Lord gave her. Hell, if I were her, I wouldn’t be running from you period.”
“Dammit , Nahni! Bring me my clothes and stop talking for crying out loud,” Angel yelled from her bedroom.
All she heard after that was the guys laughing and her trailer door shutting as Nahni waddled in with the clothes she had left on the couch in her hasty exit. The huge grin on her face had Angel shaking her head and snatching the clothing out of her arms. “Ugh, you are such a pain in my ass , Nahni.”
“Oh shush and get dressed. Good grief did you see how hot he looked in those black sl acks and that muscle hugging blue shirt. I nearly drooled all over myself right in front of my husband!” Nahni turned on the fan and stood in front of it.
“Back off , sister. That sexy man is mine. You’re stuck with my brother.” Angel slipped on a matching bra and panty set that was a vibrant shade of red, setting off her caramel hue to perfection. The hip hugging jeans weren’t necessary since they were riding in the truck tonight so she opted for her A-line red dress that had a flirty skirt that was perfect for dancing. Pairing that with her red strappy heels would surely make him tongue tied. That’s what she hoped anyways.
“Good grief , Angel he’s not gonna know what hit him when he sees you in that!” Nahni exclaimed. “Sit down and let me do your make up. You’re gonna look like the perfect red-lipped pinup girl. I think you should have your hair in a slicked back pony-tail don’t you? Since it sounds like it’s already starting to rain.”
“Yes, I think that would be perfect and quick since my hair is almost dry now.”
“Okay , doll, be still and let Nahni make you even more ravishing than you already are.”
    ***
The rain was still coming down lightly when Angel and Nahni exited the trailer. Dakota stood up and looked over Angel with adoring eyes, taking in each and every beautiful inch of her petite frame. She was a vision in red, completely taking his breath away. Her hair was pulled up in a high pony-tail that emphasized her coal lined cat-eyes that had a smoky hue to them. Her lips were painted cherry red and it only made him want to kiss her even more. She paired tiny pearl earrings
