mad, but at least give me the benefit of the doubt.”
“Question: why would you invite her over to your house anyway? I know you said it was innocent and shit, but man come on. We all were drooling over the woman when we saw her last week. A chick like that ain’t interested in being nobody’s friend. A fuck buddy, maybe. And I could tell from the way y’all were interacting with one another that something was just waitin’ to pop off.”
“Alright, I knew she was attracted to me, but I honestly had no intention of taking it there with her. Yeah, maybe some innocent flirting but that’s it. I love Aleesha. And I’ll admit that knowing Melanie was into me stroked my ego. It was nice to have a little attention because I damn sure hadn’t been getting any from Aleesha lately.”
“Marcus, I know you love the woman and she loves you. You need to go home, sit down, and have a serious discussion with her. Work this thing out.”
“Yeah. You’re right, man.” He glanced at Dominick. “Hey, thanks for listening, Dom. I’ll be in touch.” After shaking hands, Marcus got up and left.
Dominick stared after him, thinking about Marcus’ situation. Then he thought about his own broken marriage. You couldn’t pay him enough to get into a relationship again. Like he’d told Marcus, he had fuck buddies. FWBs: friends with benefits. Some, he had an actual friendship with, while others were there for sexual relief.
Whatever the situation, everyone knew the deal: no emotional involvement and no strings attached. More than once, he’d made the choice to stop seeing a woman because she started catching feelings. There was no way he’d ever go that route again. He only had room for one female in his life…his daughter. And that’s the way he planned to keep it.
Marcus locked the door behind him as he walked into his house. It was dark inside except for a lamp left on in the room.
“Aleesha?” he called out. Throwing his keys on the counter, he looked around frowning. He didn’t see the suitcase she’d had when she came in. “Aleesha?”
Damn. Had she left? A feeling close to panic stabbed Marcus in his chest at the possibility. Fuck! His first thought was that she had left and gone to stay with Jerra. He reached for his keys and hurried to the door, but just as he got ready to turn the doorknob, he paused.
Music. Coming from his bedroom. His long legs quickly ate up the distance and carried him to find her.
“Aleesha?”
Marcus anxiously called out her name as he opened the door. He stepped into the room and paused. The lights were dim and candles in various sizes lit up every corner. When his gaze fell on Aleesha, his eyes darkened with instantaneous desire. He took his time and absorbed the sexiness of his woman lying in the middle of his bed.
Now that's what I'm talking about.
He wasn't going to deny that Melanie looked tempting when she'd taken off her clothes, but Marcus was the type of man who liked something left to the imagination. Aleesha was aware of this and knew exactly how to stimulate his senses to drive him crazy.
His eyes skimmed her figure from head to toe and the sight immediately made his dick strain and swell as if it was trying to jump straight between Aleesha’s legs. Marcus knew they should talk first. Things were so out of hand that they seriously needed to discuss their relationship and come to a decision. He tried to remain strong, but it was useless once his little head set its mind on something when it came to Aleesha. At that point, it called the shots, and right now, his dick wanted its pussy and had no intention of being denied.
Marcus just decided to go with it. He bit his lip as he took note of what she was wearing. The front of the red corset was cut low and pushed the luscious globes of her breasts together. His fingers itched to trace the flesh that swelled and spilled out over the top of the material before continuing on to squeeze
