Wow, I’m blown away by this book!  You know when a book is so good you have nothing to say because it’s just that good?  That’s how I feel about Happenstance.  I thought this book was beautifully written.  Yes, it’s a novella and yes, it’s short but it was sweet and to the point.

I fell in love Erin Easter.  Her story gave me the feels like no other.  It’s one that will stay with me for a very long time.  Her life may not be perfect but I love how she never gave up.  If I was to trade places with her for a day, I’m not sure if I can handle all that life has thrown at her.  She’s such a strong individual.

I enjoyed getting to know Weston.  His courage to stand up and protect Erin was very heartwarming.  I also enjoyed seeing their friendship blossom into something more.

The twist in the book, I thought that was nicely done.

I highly recommend this book.  Jamie McGuire is a favorite author of mine and I absolutely love all of her books.  She’s exceptionally gifted in writing and I’m looking forward to reading more about Erin and Weston and see what’s in store for them.
