Infinite possibilities….
Infinite passion…..
Infinite danger….

His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn’t trust him. I shouldn’t tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need.

At the young age of eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Lara to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, with a new identity as Amy, she’s finally dared to believe she is forgotten–even if she cannot forget. But just when she lets down her guard, the ghosts of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run.

On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. And what he wants is Amy. Refusing to take “no” as an answer, he sweeps her into a passionate affair, pushing her to her erotic limits. He wants to possess her. He makes her want to be possessed. Liam demands everything from her, accepting nothing less. But what if she is too devastated by tragedy to know when he wants more than she should give? And what if there is more to Liam than meets the eyes?

Book Review: 4,5 stars

I LOVED ESCAPING REALITY! I was so eager to read this book because, first, I love Lisa Renee Jones’ books, second, I love Lisa Renee Jones’ books, and third, I love Lisa Renee Jones’ books. *chuckles* Ok, ok, I’ll be serious. Lisa Renee Jones knows how to write suspense, romance and erotica! Her writing style is fresh and classy and her descriptions are great. Like I said, I love Lisa Renee Jones’ books.

The first book of The Secret Life of Amy Bensen Series, Escaping Reality, starts in the middle of the story. I’ll try to explain myself without giving spoilers. Amy (which is not her real name) has to hide from something ***M Y S T E R Y*** back in her past which is threatening her ***M Y S T E R Y*** and keeps forcing her to run and hide around the country. She has a handler ***M Y S T E R Y*** who “helps” her to “hide” ***M Y S T E R Y*** very well, but aside from that, she’s all alone. So, when the “danger” is near again, her handler ordered to run away and there’s when she meets Liam ***another freaking M Y S T E R Y***, and they get obsessed about each other. Amy feels she must run away from Liam, but she just can’t help but to feel devastated at the thought of leaving him. Their relationship moves pretty fast but it doesn’t feel forced or “orchestrated”. It feels so real. It feels like true love to me.

Amy is strong and independent in contrast with the weak and dependant woman everyone thinks she is. She doesn’t trust very easy, and she knows how to dodge personal questions she has to keep very guarded in order to protect her life. And Liam *sigh*, let’s say he had the same effect in Amy and me. Oh. My. God. That. Man. Is. Hot. He’s protective, caring and very domineering. He has so many secrets, just like Amy. He has a way to read everyone’s mind, especially Amy’s.

There are so many mysteries in this book. So many questions without answers. I need them now. If you haven’t read any book of Lisa, this is perfect to begin with, and if you’ve, you know  when I’m saying you have to read this book, and the series.

Audiobook review: 4,5 stars

The performance of Charlotte Penfield was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. She transmitted Amy’s personality very well and did very well for the secondary characters too. Her narration was a great addition to the suspense of the story. 100% recommended.
