Today’s Top Ten Tuesday was FREE to make whatever we wanted and as I love movies and books, why not to make my top ten of movies based on books.

10. The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer
I loved the first movie, then read all the books and love them too and then I was utterly obsessed about the movies, of course I loved them all. But then I re-read the series and re-watched the movies and I wasn’t so in love with the adaptations, especially with Bella’s character. I loved Bella from the book but not from the movie.
9. The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins
Good movies, entertaining, but I’m not sure I’ll ever read the books.
8. Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
I loved movies 1 and 2, the third one was OK. I never read the books and I don’t think I’ll that in a near future.
7. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum
Love this classic. Never read the book, but I love all the adaptations Hollywood does.
6. The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
I loved the movie and loved the books so much! Sadly they didnt made a sequel 🙁
5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Oh I remember that Saturday morning when I saw the news about “a movie” based on “a book” and I had credits in audioble, so I said: Oh I wanna listen to this audiobook! And I didn’t even read the synopsis, I didn’t watch the trailer, I was so blind when I started the audiobook, and thank GOD for the audio, because I couldnt stop crying with this beautiful and heartbreaking story. I didnt pause for 8 hours, I couldn’t. Five months later I watched the movie and cried for 2 hours and I loved it as much as I loved the book.
4. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
I simply love this movie. Maybe someday I’ll read the book.
3. Divergent Series by Veronica Roth
Loooved the books –I’m still not over the ending of Allegiant– and of course I love the movies! GIMME MORE THEO JAMES!
2. The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
I resisted so many years to watch this trilogy, but when I watched it, it was the extended version –like 200 hours in the 3 movies- and I loved it. Sadly, I tried to read the books, but I couldn’t. So heavy for me.
1. Harry Potter Saga by JK Rowling
I’m a #potterhead of heart. You didn’t have to think much about my #1 because…. well, only see my nick name: Angy Potter 🙂
