He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to befriends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Carolin’s Book Review: 4 stars

“The Score” is Dean Di Laurentis’ and Allie’s story. Dean is Garett’s teammate, roomate and one of his best friends and Allie is Hannah’s roommate and her bestie. Both don’t really know each other, despite their mutual friends. That changes, when Allie needs shelter one night and crashes at the guy’s house. But only Dean is home… Can a fling between a self-proclaimed, spoiled manwhore and a freshley broken up, down-to-earth young woman really lead to more?

Honestly, “The Score” was my least favorite of the ‘Off Campus’-Series. I love Dean, he is my Mr. Sunshine – but I had a very big issue with the book. It was like everything was going too smooth for the biggest part, I was a bit bored. And then BAM – so much was happening in the last 15% of the book, that I didn’t really know what hit me first! I love angst – no, scratch that, I crave angst – but this was too much for the last part. It could have been dispensed better, then the ending wouldn’t have been such a rush. But that’s only a very personal issue.

The writing was amazing like always in Elle Kennedy’s book. The two MC’s were adorable, they made for such a cute couple, even when they weren’t one. And I had to laugh so hard, I’ve almost fallen off the sofa at the one scene in particular. The sex-scenes were great done, like anticipated with Kennedy’s books, too.

All in all, I rate “The Score” with 4 stars and can recommend it to all fans of the ‘Off Campus’-Series. For everyone who hasn’t read the books yet – what are you waiting for? LOL   I’d highly recommend to read “The Deal” and “The Mistake” first, though.

And now I’m waiting impatiently for Tucker’s book!!! Holy moly, what a spoiler…

Ralou’s Book Review: 4 stars

Another wonderful addition to the Off-Campus series. These hockey guys start to get deeper under my skin and i have no intention to pull them out. I simply love them.

After we met Garrett and Logan on The Deal and The Mistake respectively, now we meet Dean DiLaurentis – the last name screams Pretty Little Liars or is it just me? -, one of the four hockey players of Briar University that share that famous house off-campus. And just a reminder for the future, the forth book of this series The Goal, is released soon and that tells the story of the forth, Tucker’s. Just keep it in mind because it may surpass all the others 😉 But let’s get back to Dean.

For those who already have read the other two, you will probably already know that Dean is the most playful and girl-conqueror of them all. But as hot hot hawt hawt as the others. Also, he’s about to change not only tactics but his whole self when Allie Hayes enters his life for good. Allie is Hannah’s – Garrett’s girlfriend – best friend and roomate and who is in a great need: she doesn’t want to be in her room alone with her phone for the weekend. So, she is sent to the guys’s house whose Tuck and Dean are the weekend’s only residents. But she finds only Dean there under some very hilarious cirmcumstances. And that night is when everything starts!

After last night’s performance, Allie Hayes proved that she’s fully capable of leaving her mark on a man. Jesus. That girl can fuck.

Every encounter of theirs is even more amazing that the other. Starting from funny and ending on romantic. But what it’s trully amazing about them is, that each one, as their relationship evolutes, plays an important role on the change of their course: instead of going on opposite directions, they start direct themselves towards each other. Time after time, they overpass a fear of theirs or change the way they viewed their lives because they have each other’s impact. It is a very fascinating thing to read.

Yeah, she rocks my world. And I’m going to return the favor.

Elle Kennedy wrote another wonderful story about these hockey players which, practically, means that she made it impossible for me to choose who I love most. It is a really hard decision that still has to be made. Probably in the very far far future.

“I thought you said you didn’t want to salsa dance. And Dean DiLaurentis only does what he wants, remember?”

He shrugs. “I am doing what I want.” My eyebrows knit together as I wait for him to clarify.

“I’m making you happy.”

And GOOD GOD, Elle! Are you trying to kill me? That spoiler for Tucker’s story is monumental! And so much breathtaking! How am I supposed to wait patiently after THAT?? Please, h u r r y…….. :p

Sasha’s Book Review: 5 stars

Off Campus  is definitely one of my favorite series. If you have read The Deal or The Mistake then you’ll know Dean Di-Laurentis. Dean is like the biggest manwhore in the history of books, when i head his book was coming i just started laughing. I mean seriously i had no idea there was any hope for him, he’s Dean so just let him be. Now there is something about watching bad boys and manwhores falling in love that is simply precious. I needed to read this book, i needed to read about Dean Di-Laurentis falling in love or i was gonna have one major nervous breakdown.

Elle Kennedy created a chemistry between Dean and Allie that was so beguiling it was addictive. I never had so much reading about two people falling in love before. You can’t help but fall in love with them along the way. I loved the turn the story took. For someone as manwhore as Dean could possible be woman weren’t a big issue between them and that was refreshing and genuine. I can assure you, this book is so hot it can set some pages on fire, it gets so hilarious that you will laugh non stop and then it gets just so sad you will sob a little, but overall is so precious you’ll end up with your heart feeling so full at the end.

You’ll feel like you’re having the time of your life while you read The Score, i didn’t wanted it to end.
