He’s not the guy you date.
He’s the one night stand.
You’d think this man who sent hot looks my way, who called me succulent, would want to strip me bare and spread me out on his bed like every other woman in Chicago.
Except, he passed on my offer….
Just like I once passed on his.
He’s wary, like I am.
He’s broken, like I am.
And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole.
So I try to distract myself with dating.
Tahoe and I are strictly friends. He doesn’t think my new beau is good enough—he doesn't think any man is, especially himself.
The more time Tahoe and I spend together, the more confused I feel.
I'm trying to open up to love.
But I'm quickly realizing that the only man I want is the stubborn, cocky, unattainable playboy Tahoe Roth.
The one my mother warned me about.
The one my body craves.
The only one who will surely break my heart.

Book Review: 5+ Stars

Ladies Man is the book I never expected it to be. I say this in the best way possible, because Ladies Man is more than perfect. Tahoe & Gina’s friendship was EVERYTHING! I loved they were friends for a long time before they sealed the deal! I loved they got to know each other so well, and even though they knew their flaws, fears and deepest and darkest secrets, they still loved  each other so much, but first as friends. Friendship always came first for Gina and Tahoe. GOD, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

Ladies Man features a year in Gina’s life. Everything was changing for her, good and other not so good changes. She was going to have a new roommate and suddenly had to look for a new apartment because her friend decided a different thing. She wanted to move on from her heartbreaking experience with her former boyfriend and started dating a guy she met in Tahoe’s birthday party. And she got closer to Tahoe Roth. They became best friends. Everytime she needed him, he was there for her. Even in the most awkward moments, she always sought for his help and HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR HER. And despite she was in a relationship and he was whoring around with 100 women, they couldn’t deny their feelings for each other.

Reading this beautiful friendship WAS THE BEST! Although this book only has Gina’s POV, I could sense Tahoe’s struggle with his feelings. They wanted to be together but they were so sure they weren’t what the other deserve, but most of that, they both were afraid to lose their friendship, thing I loved immensely about this beautiful and sexy story. It made it different from any other book I’ve read, and I have read A LOT!

All in all, Ladies Man was a book perfectly written, the characters were greatly developed and the sexual tension was enough for the lack of sex in 80% of this book. One chaste kiss can be more intense than one full of lust and desperation. Of course, I looooved it when they finally made love. It was hot and beautiful and perfect.

Audiobook Review: 4 Stars

*Sigh* Grace Grant why oh why? I mean, Grace has been one of my favorite female narrators of all times, and I have to admit, she nailed it with Gina. She translated Gina through and through, her personality, her desire for Tahoe, her struggle in life. I LOVED every minute of Gina’s inner dialogue, her moments with her female friends and even with Brent. But when she was changing her inflexion to speak for Tahoe…. I wasn’t very happy. At some moment I had to zone out her narration and just enjoy the story, because Ladies Man is one helluva book! So I got used to her male inflexions and I ENJOYED the audiobook so much. I even repeated it, because… LADIES MAN!!! I’m obsessed with Tahoe T-Rex Roth.
