London Wright thought she’d been in love before, but she hadn’t—not even close.

Then she met him.

Rugged and gorgeous, Loïc Berkeley, a special forces soldier is everything she’s ever wanted. Getting him to notice her was a challenge, but keeping his love is proving to be more difficult.

London’s used to getting what she wants so loving someone like Loïc is a humbling and somewhat terrifying experience. For everything she has in her life, he’s the one thing she can’t bear to lose.

Loïc Berkeley never wanted love. He views it as an unneeded distraction that causes nothing but pain. Love, for Loïc, always ends in disappointment.

Then he met her.

Spoiled, witty, and breathtakingly beautiful London Wright is his undoing. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew his life would never be the same. Though he tries to fight it, he finds himself falling for her.

Having lived a life full of sorrow, finding London brought Loïc rare happiness. Though his feelings for her are strong, is what they have powerful enough to break the cycle of his past?

book review: 6 “I spy with my little eye…” stars!!

Perfectly fucked up together until we’re just together.

I still remember how swept away I was when I first saw this book’s perfect cover. I had even seen it in my sleep a time or two. It had my mind literally stuck with it. Since then, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And finally, a week ago, I finally got the chance to meet the habitats of this amazing book with the great cover which listens to the name Finding London.

Loϊc & London. Two individuals with completely different life styles but with such intertwined destinies that you can’t distinguish where the one ends and the other starts. They always belonged in each other but they hadn’t realized it yet when they had first met. Or, more accurately, London was a bit more closer than Loϊc to finally understand that.

Essentially, I’m reprogramming my entire being into the person I want to be.

Everything started when, while a charity car wash event, London has to was down Loϊc’s monstrous truck. But, she soon forgets all about that when she comes face to face with his deep blue eyes. London, used to getting any guy she wants, is taken by surprise and fills with anger when Loϊc ignores her. Although, soon, she will realize that appearances are deceptive because only indifferent she is not to Loϊc. And after that meeting, it’s only a matter of time for these two to find their way to each other and stay there.

The chemistry and intensity that flows between them is really strong. Both found in each other what they didn’t know they were looking for all their life and they were missing. Loϊc found in London the place where he wanted to go since a little boy and London found in Loϊc the absolute.

“Maybe, where you have holes, I can fill you with my strength, and where I’m ripped wide open, you can mend me.”

I loooooved everything that Ellie Wade did with the characters and the story. The plot was really amazing and super beautiful. It was waving in and out of pain, love, fun, joy, sadness, struggle with grace which captivated me. The characters fit perfectly into it and made it even more amazing. One of the things I loved the most about this book was how much fitting and clever were the names, especially London and Loϊc’s. They were simply brilliant and so unique that I couldn’t not adore them. Witnessing London’s change of character and perspective of the world and the heart changed me. Also, the fact that I got to read the timeline of Loϊc’s life was something that stayed with me and made the story even more beautiful than it already was. The unfolding of each scene and each character had me tied down and there wasn’t a minute in it that I didn’t feel that I was being under the shower of a powerful and amazing love which can hold its ground through time.

“The trick is finding the person whose flaws are compatible with your own.”

Finding London is a book that anyone must read. The recommendation goes without question. And, plus, the guy is a military one so the bar of hotness just rose higher 😉 Check it out! It’s worth it……
